Deb Prado is a Brazilian visual artist based in New Jersey. She works with a variety of medium from traditional black and white photography to experimental digital film making. Her choice of subject matter often explore the double consciousness that springs from living in a foreign land. Her latest work is an on going series of short animated visual poems in which she uses a combination of techniques to create stop motion animation of stills. These range from digital images, 35mm film scans and images made with alternative photographic methods such as digital pinhole photography. In the realm of video art, her latest work was the result of a collaboration with Willoughby Sharp entitled Einsteins Eye.
