Janela

Deb Prado’s atmospheric bit of stop-motion animation sifts over the ashes of someone who isn’t there anymore. Made entirely of still pictures from a DSLR camera, with no video used – screenhead

A wonderful experience – telling a tale of imagery and imagination. You managed to keep me watching and craving more.

I love the motion of the characters and environments. The jumpy way the images seem flow together manages to create a slow hypnotic rhythm which is at odds with the uneven frame rate.

A nostalgic feeling – a comfortable dream – loved it

Another great pixilation film by Deb Prado – It contains some very beautiful imagery and is a great delight to watch. The added sounds are very effective in creating an appropriate atmosphere for the film.
